Fashion show exposes many talents

Shoppers win big at Protea Glen Mall fashion show.

September 26 was the finals of Protea Glen Mall’s fashion show.

Auditions for the fashion show were held on September 5, 12 and 24.

The theme was “embracing your spring colours and heritage”.

The show did not only focus on fashion but there was also dancing, singing and poetry competitions for young people.

There was also a spend and win competition for older people where those who spent R300 or more were entered to spot prize competition.

Shoppers stood a chance of winning vouchers from exciting stores found at the mall.

There were celebrity judges such as Motlatsi Mofatsi and Thato Molamo just to name a few.

Grand winner, Bonolo Phahla received a fashion voucher worth R2000, followed by Keabetwe Sefume, who received R1500 and Cindy Shabalala who also walked away with R1000 worth of fashion voucher.

Tshepiso Makhubo, marketing manager at Protea Glen Mall was happy with the outcome of the event, especially that it exposed a lot of talent from Protea Glen.

“We have seen tremendous talent within the Protea Glen community and with us hosting a talent show, we got exposed to young poets, musicians and dancers who also received shopping voucher worth R 1000,” said Makhubo.
