Baitul Ilm and Delrado moves to zonal round of battle

The Battle of the Books reading competition was held on the August 17 and 19 at the Eldorado Park Extension Five Library.

The competition is an inter-school knockout quiz for pupils in Grades Six and Seven in the City of Johannesburg.

Delrado Primary School, Eldocrest Primary School and Eldorado Park Primary School participated in the first session held on August 17, while Baitul Ilm, Minerton, Nancefield and Parkdale Primary Schools were in the second session the next day.

Delrado Primary won in the first session, while Baitul Ilm Primary won in the second.

Both schools will proceed to the Zonal Round to be held at Lenasia Extension Three Library on September 3 where they will be representing Eldorado Park.
