A stormwater infrastructure by Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) with Kumani Projects and Hlanganani Engineers & Project Managers is almost done.
The R3.1million project in Extension Four Protea Glen started in April lasted for three months.
Mzwakhe Tshabalala, CLO for the project confirmed that the project is done and only a few touch ups are left.
“The project is basically done, we have installed all the KIs (drainage basins) and the road is now open,” said Tshabalala.
The stormwater drainage was built due to flooding when it rains causing the road to be unusable.
A total of 10 KI’s were constructed which are there to drain water.
