Another family was left with nothing after a fire swept through their home in Klipspruit West.
According to Helen Van der Linde, her son was sleeping with a heater on when her daughter saw the place was engulfed in flames.
Van der Linde claims to have run through the flames to rescue her son.
Sheriden Van der Linde who lives with his wife and one-year-old baby lost all their belongings in the fire.
