After weeks of searching for the family of the deceased woman who died in her shack, the family has at last come forward.
Vincent Mashiteng, communications officer at Protea Glen SAPS said that the family of the deceased contacted them and will be collecting the body soon for a burial.
He also said that for them this is a relief because she will be laid to rest by her family.
“Had the family not came forward, the deceased would be buried by the state,” said Mashiteng.
The woman died of natural causes.
