Missing man found
Man missing for nearly a month found at South Rand Hospital.
An ambulance found him unconscious and rushed him to the nearest medical facility which is South Rand Hospital where he was admitted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on June 8.
He recovered and managed to give his details to the nursing sisters on June 25, who then informed the police.
The police managed to find his family in Riverlea and they then identified him.
Sydney Smith was released from hospital on June 26, and is in the care of his family again.
The Smith family want to extend their heart felt regards and thank everybody who prayed, helped for their father to be found alive.
Terrence Smith, his son is relieved and happy upon his discovery.
“I am really grateful for all the people who have been helping us look for him and I am just happy that he is alive,” said Smith.
