Westbury Clinic gets a facelift

Services to increase and better benefits for the people with the new clinic.

The Westbury Clinic that has been in existence for over 20 years has received a major revamp this year.

The project headed by City of Johannesburg’s Health Department in conjunction with the Johannesburg Development Agency and Massa Construction, started in March.

Plans for the new clinic are an admission ward and a maternity ward.

The main aim is to provide more services to the community and make it more convenient.

The workload will also become lighter for hospitals such as Rahima Moosa and Helen Joseph Hospital.

Peter Wagner a resident from Westbury was appointed as the Community Liaison Officer for the project.

“We have managed to hire 26 local labourers with 25 males and one female.

“We are planning on hiring more locals as the workload will increase,” said Wagner.

The deadline as stipulated by the company is set for March 2016.
