Free victim empowerment services for the community

Abuse victims together with their families to receive counselling.

Sabbath Women’s Ministry will soon launch a victim empowerment counselling services.

It targets individuals who have fallen victim to rape, abuse, trauma and other serious problems that require counselling.

The services will be offered free of charge.

According to a trauma counsellor Dulcy Rubushe, this support service will be inclusive of the victim’s family.

This means everyone in the family will go for counselling to help deal with the problem facing a victim.

Rubushe, who’s also a pastor, said she’s simply responding to her calling of restoring peace in people’s lives and spreading the word of God.

“To provide counselling is within my sphere of experience and I am prepared to work with the public at no cost,” she said.

The first meeting to kick-off the ministry will be on July 2.

Venues will constantly change to reach as many people as possible.
