Blessings pour in for centre

Sunshine Centre gets mini makeover.

Sunshine Centre had a mini revamp with the help of research company Nielsen.

Staff painted classrooms and repaired the dilapidated sandpit.

The Nielsen company gave back to communities worldwide yesterday as they have in previous years.

“We have a global impact day where we go out and make an impact on our communities,” Njabu Hlanze said.

They have previously worked with Cansa.

Then team fixed classrooms, painted them and had a workshop on how to make play dough.

The centre manager of Sunshine Centre said the efforts of Nielsen will greatly impact it.

“As an NGO we rely on companies to improve our centre.

“We have challenges in terms of raising awareness on children with special needs and by having people interested in our centre it helps with marketing and awareness,” she said.

The four pillars of priority for Nielsen are hunger, nutrition, education, diversity and inclusion.
