‘Young people are catalysts of change’

Gauteng government shows commitment to transforming the lives of young people.

Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation MEC, Molebatsi Bopape has commended the class of 76 for paving the away for today’s youth.

Molebatsi was speaking at the youth month programme launch at the Nasrec Expo today.

Bopape said young people should be the catalysts of change like the class of 76 and they can do that with assistance from government.

She said the Gauteng government is committed to transforming  the youth of this province.

“Considerable progress has been made to assist young people as we move to the 40th anniversary of the 1976 Soweto uprising,” said Bopape.

The launch of the youth month programme is driven by the Gauteng City Region with various provincial government departments.

The theme for this year is,” youth moving Gauteng City region forward.”
