More opportunities for the youth

Johannesburg to have new Wi-Fi hotspots.

As it is youth month, the City of Johannesburg announced more opportunities coming to the youth during their month.
Besides the Vulindlel’eJozi which will be running as of June 16, Mayor Parks Tau said that later on in the month they will launch a Digital Literacy Programme which is aimed at moving barriers the youth face when reaching for opportunities.
He also said that Johannesburg will have new WiFi hotspots which will help with online varsity.
COJ also has other social cohesion programmes where small companies owned by the youth meet at Museum Africa every Thursdays at 10am to talk about community development, and how to include the youth in the economic frame.
