Circus postponed to July/August

Locals ask for more time to raise funds so their children can attend the circus.

The Circus For All team would like to send an apology to the community of Soweto for the postponement of the circus.

Circus For All had to postpone all circus shows that were planned for Soweto, for both Moroka and Dobsonville to July/August 2015, contrary to the warm welcoming excitement by the community.

The marketing manager said, “It is evident that the community is excited to have the circus in Soweto but concerns were also raised from parents of the community who needed more time to raise funds.”

Shirley who is the project manager, added that “the purpose of bringing the circus here is to bring wholesome entertainment to all the children of Soweto, so we need to keep to our core of doing what is beneficial for every child and not a few.

With that said, ticket prices have also been reviewed, to make it more viable for all children.

Adults will still pay R65, whereas every child under 12 and pensioners will pay R40.

Tickets are already available at any Computicket for the July/August shows, kicking off in Dobsonville on July 25 and August 1 in Moroka.

Venues have not been changed,

Dobsonville still Umthombo Wolwazi and Moroka, Soweto Equestrian (Horse Riding)-opposite Elka Stadium.
