Carmen Smith to play for the SA hockey team

One of the players from In Touch Sporting, Carmen Smith was called up to the national under 21 hockey squad recently.

This is a huge achievement for the club because its aim is to develop players and expose them nationally and internationally.

Chairman of the organisation, Mervyn Mooi is proud of her achievements.

“We recognised the potential in Carmen while she was at In- Touch as a junior,” said Mooi.

Her ex-team mates wishes her all the best in her quest to become a top class international player.

The 21-year-old is from Bosmont.
