Police need witnesses for murder

Police are calling on witnesses to come forward for a murder that took place in Extension Two last week.

A man and woman were walking in Sneeuberg Street, Extension Two on May 10 when three males approached them.

“The male said he heard a gunshot and then saw that the woman he was with was shot,” Gugu Radebe, communications intern said.

The woman later died.

Captain Philemon Khorombi said it is the priority of the police to apprehend the men responsible for this murder.

“We are urging witnesses to come forward with a description of the men or any information they may have,” Khorombi said.
