Scelo wins R50 000 from Nedbank

Competition winner plans on studying further.

Scelo Dlamini, a 21 year old from Protea North has won R50 000 from Nedbank in the ‘Make things that really matter happen’ competition.

Dlamini, whose mother died in 2004 and has never met his father, is very excited about the prize money he got as it will help him further his studies.

“I am very excited about winning the competition, my dream of studying Bcom Accounting has become reality as I now have the funds to further my studies,” said Dlamini.

He also said that he never thought he would win the competition but is happy that he did.

“I just entered a Nedbank competition in March without even having much faith that I would win but here I am today, the winner of R50.000,” said Dlamini.

Dlamini is currently staying with his uncle and his aunt who have been taking care of him since he finished his matric in 2011 in Limpopo.
