Zola-Jabulani Hospital name change
Hospital celebrates first anniversary and honours fallen hero.
The Zola- Jabulani Gateway Hospital will now be known as Bhekizizwe Mlangaeni Hospital with Gauteng Premier David Makhura leading the name change event.
The 300 bed hospital is turning a year old this month and as part of celebrations the hospital will be named in honour of the former struggle hero.
Bheki Mlangeni is well known as one of the strategist in the youth liberation movement and is known to be one of the human rights lawyers born and bred in Jabulani, Soweto.
The premier arrived at the hospital and briefed hospital staff in the hospitals management’s conference room.
When the briefing is complete, the premier and his team will do an oversight of the hospital and unveil the new name of the hospital.
