Eldos rolls out the red carpet for Liesl
Liesl Laurie will go through Eldos and address residents at the Extension 9 stadium.
Eldorado Park will be celebrating the homecoming of Miss South Africa, Liesl Laurie this Sunday.
Dereleen James from the organising committee LDAC promises that it will be an exciting day.
“Eldorado Park has received constant negative publicity over the past two years but thanks to Liesl a positive wave has been ignited in our community,” James said.
The communities of Eldorado Park, Kliptown, Freedom Park, Slovo Park and Naturena are invited to come out with their placards, balloons and flowers in support of the motorcade and line up on Main Road in Eldorado Park on Sunday from 11am to 3pm.
The motorcade will start from Klipspruit West through all the extensions, ending off the parade at the Eldorado Park Ext 9 Stadium where Miss SA Liesl Laurie with other community leaders will address the crowd.
“We trust that this event will stimulate and unleash an unending potential within our community,” James said.
