Alpha World Ministries partakes in 67 Blankets for Mandela
15 countries all over the world join 67 Blankets for Mandela.
On April 1, Alpha World Ministries Social Care Centre handed over blankets to the 67 Blankets For Mandela.
The elderly from the day care knitted blankets as part of the 67 Blankets for Mandela initiative.
Having started knitting the blankets about two weeks ago, 55 of the blankets were already finished.
Pastor Maureen Sibadela, founder of Alpha World Ministries Social Care Centre and Elderly Day Care said that they are happy to be part of the initiative and give a helping hand.
“We feel blessed to be part of the process of helping others and giving back to the community,” said Sibadela.
Alpha World Ministries Social Care Centre has a target of finishing 80 blankets in two weeks and they believe they are on course.
Carolyn Steyn, founder of 67 Blankets for Mandela thanks everyone who is participating in the initiative.
