PGSS honours Jessica Motaung

Jessica Motaung recognised as one of the most influential women in the country.

On March 11, Protea Glen Secondary School hosted Jessica Motaung where she was honoured for being one of the most influential women in South Africa.

Motaung was welcomed by the principal of the school, Joseph Mabaso.

One of the pupils requested Motaung to help them with the science laboratory where she will work with the Algerian Ambassador.

Dr Jose Nascimento, one of the school’s sponsors acknowledged the school as being one of the best schools in Johannesburg and spoke about the importance of education.

He said that education is the only vehicle which will emanate this country and that PGSS must continue doing what they do best.

“The future depends on us, if we are disciplined, study hard then we are moving forward.” said Nascimento.

Motaung was honoured to be at the school and being recognised as one of the most influential women in South Africa.

She said that she will be looking out for the school and will help where she can to continue building the school.

“I will be looking out for the school, it is now my school and I hope to contribute significantly to the science laboratory,” said Motaung.

She also encouraged the pupils to be the change they want to see in this country and must focus on education in order to make it happen.
