Theft out of motor vehicle increased by 100%

Drivers are urged to practice safety.

Eldorado Park Police are urging motorists to keep their belongings out of sight in their motor vehicles.
“We have seen an increase in cases of theft out of motor vehicles.
“Motorists should keep their doors locked and keep their belongings out of plain sight when your vehicle is parked or while driving,” communications intern, Gugulethu Radebe said.
She also advises drivers to park their cars in well lit areas.
“Theft out of motor vehicles increased by 100% compared to last year this time,” said Radebe.
