Pupils receive school uniforms

Uniforms donation restores the dignity of underprivileged pupils.

The pupils of Dr Beyers Naude  Secondary School were thrilled as they were presented with a donation of school uniforms.

Items donated included school blazers, jerseys and shoes among other items and these were all donated by various donors.

Acoording to school principal, Linda Zabala, the blazers are awarded to the top performers of the school and pupils that are part of the Representative Council of Learners.

Zabala said if pupils have no confidence, they struggle to learn, therefore all this is done to restore their dignity so they can learn with pride.

She thanked MTN, Mamarinyane Ratsaka and Nompumelelo Msezane and friends for making all this possible.

RCL president Jessica Mbambo said they are happy and thankful for all the help they are receiving from outside of the school.

She said now they are all able to look presentable and that the blazers motivates others to perform better than before.
