Lethabo gone without a trace

Lerato Maema says she is still praying for the safe return of her son.

It has been five months and still Lethabo Mahosi Maema (12) is still missing.

The lad was 11-years-old when he went missing on September 27, at Mofolo Central near the White City Swimming Pool area.

His mother, Lerato Maema says her son went missing at around 2:30pm that day.

“My son has not yet been found and no one has called to share any information on his whereabouts.

“We are very worried and I ask myself where is he, what he is eating and I talk about him daily.

“It was also very painful when schools re-opened as he was not around to experience the first day of school with other children, so I still wonder where he is,” Maema says.

She says the family has gone to the police station various times to ask for more information, but the police have asked them to be patient as they are still investigating.

The boy was last seen wearing a striped navy blue and white t-shirt, blue capri jeans and blue and white sandals.

“I am asking and praying that if someone took him, they bring him back safely to us.

“We love him and need him back home with us,” she says.

If anyone has seen or has any information on Lethabo, they are asked to call his mother Lerato Maema on 074 026 1084 or his father Khumo Kganyaeo on 073 819 3860.
