Eldorado Park Police made 14 arrests over the weekend, four of them for possession of stolen vehicles.
On Saturday while patrolling, police noticed a suspicious driver and gave chase.
“The two males in the vehicle fired shots at the police and hit a 15-year-old in the process,” Gugulethu Radebe, communications intern said.
The high speed chase ended when the suspects crashed into a wall, injuring one of them.
Police found live ammunition in the car and illegal firearms.
One suspect got away while the other was detained.
Upon further investigation, police found that the vehicle was stolen.
