Road-show to hit Soweto

Residents urged to attend road show to be more informed about health and community matters.

The GP Gangster Foundation, Sonke Gender Justice, Brothers for Life and Isizinda Sempilo Organisation will be hosting a Brothers for Life Community Road Show that will take place at the Ekhaya Centre in Dube on February 13.

The initiative will be from 9am to 4pm.

According to Bafana Ndlovu, purpose of the road-show is to launch the new Brothers for Life campaign and to promote and encourage responsible living in the community through having responsible fathers, denouncing gender based violence, encouraging men especially to know their HIV/Aids status, protecting themselves and their partners sexually and promoting medical male circumcision.

“The Department of Health will also be present to conduct health checks for chronic illnesses.

“We encourage residents to come and take part in this initiative so they can know more about their health and services that are available to them in their communities,” Ndlovu said.
