Police are on the hunt for a suspect who was allegedly involved in a rape case on June 7, 2014.
According to communications officer of Kliptown Police Station, Thuli Ngwenya, at about 17:30pm the victim was going home to the Nancefield Hostel returning from Orange Farm.
“When she got off a taxi and while walking to where she stays, she was allegedly attacked from behind by an unknown male who then raped and robbed her of her cell phone.
“The suspect is unknown to the victim,” said Ngwenya.
If there is anyone with information of the suspect, they should please contact investigating officer constable Innocentia Zulu on 072 622 1466.
They can refer to this matter as the Eldorado Park case and the case number is 179/06/2014.
