Jabavu principals content with matric results

Gauteng matriculants come out tops with 84.7 % pass rate.

Today thousands of pupils, parents, principals and teachers have had mixed reactions to the release of the matric results of the Class of 2014.

In some of the schools that fall under Jabavu, however, principals say they are happy and satisfied with the results produced by their matriculants.

Adelaide Thambo School for the Physically Challenged received 80 percent pass rate which is an increase from 69 percent in 2013.

Morris Isaacson High School obtained 72 percent which is a decreased from 87 percent which was received in the previous year.

Dr Beyers Naude Secondary School got 89.3 percent pass rate which is an improvement from 75 percent the year before.

Lobone Secondary School obtained a 56 percent pass rate which increased by 14 percent from what they got the previous year.
