President Zuma scores 1/10 for performance

The DA has issued an assessment of President Jacob Zuma’s performance, including his cabinet since the May elections.

The Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition rated President Jacob Zuma 1/10 for his performance in a comprehensive assessment by the party.

The assessment, inclusive of Zuma’s cabinet, measured the performance of The African National Congress (ANC) since the May elections.

 

The report card lists the following ministers as South Africa’s worst performing:

The Minister of Communications, Faith Muthambi (1/10)

– Minister of Economic Development, Ebrahim Patel (1/10)

– The Minister of Energy, Tina Joemat-Pettersson (1/10)

– The Minister of Water and Sanitation, Nomvula Mokonyane (2/10)

– The Minister of Labour, Mildred Oliphant (3/10)

– The Minister of Sport and Recreation, Fikile Mbalula (3/10)

– The Minister of Public Enterprise, Lynne Brown (4/10)

 

The Minister of Science and Technology scored 8/10 for her department management and operational strategies.

“Targets are set and reached. There is a clear strategy to roll out increased research and development.” said the DA in a statement.
