Ngobeni shines in Batho Pele Excellence Awards
Gauteng Department of Education congratulates Ngobeni for being the best in the coutry.
The Gauteng Department of Education is proud to announce that one of its head’s, Boy Ngobeni has been recognised as the best Head of Department (HOD) in the country.
Ngobeni was awarded best HOD for demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and expertise and for successfully achieving the overall strategic goals of the department.
He was given this award at the recent National Batho Pele Exellence Awards which were organised by the Department of Public Service and Administration.
The awards are done to acknowledge and reward excellence of individuals in the public service and make sure they mature to greater heights.
The Gauteng MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi congratulated Ngobeni in a statement, saying it is Ngobeni’s distinctive leadership qualities and tireless energy that earned him this award.
Lesufi said that they are privileged as a province and as the department to have Ngobeni as an HOD and that his leadership skills showed in the department’s many successes.
