A 34-year-old male was shot and killed on Friday October 10 at 6:30pm at Thulani Extension Five in Dobsonville Policing area next to a tavern.
Communications officer Mzwakhe Xazi said this incident occurred when electricity power was off in some parts of the area.
The victim was standing with his friend outside the local pub when he was shot at and died on the scene.
Xazi said police investigation has unfolded.
“Dobsonville SAPS has launched a manhunt for suspects involved in the above mentioned murder case. Paramedics were summoned, unfortunately the victim passed away. He sustained wounds on the left chest and at the back left hand side,” said Xazi.
