Kidnapped woman found

Nonzokwazi Luthuli happy to be reunited with her family.

After being kidnapped for about three weeks, Nonzokwazi Luthuli has returned to her family.

She was found unharmed at a park in Orlando East after she was kidnapped last month while on her way to work.

At this stage, it is alleged that she was dropped by four unknown men at a park in Orlando East and that she was drugged by her kidnappers.

Luthuli was taken to hospital for observation.

“An investigation is underway and more information will be obtained from her after she has been released from hospital,” said Vincent Mashiteng, communications officer at Protea Glen Police Station.

An investigation was conducted around the clock to find the kidnapped woman and arrest the suspects.

The police are thanking the community of Soweto for their assistance in ensuring that the woman was found and safely reunited with her family.
