Specific areas in Eldorado Park are targeted for robberies according to CPF chairperson Victor Olivier.
“We have many cases of robberies from extension four, eight and Old Eldos,” Olivier said.
He said most of the victims are either robbed by gunpoint or with a knife.
“Don’t try to fight back because you could get injured in the process,” Olivier said.
He urges residents not to walk with their devices visible to criminals.
A victim from extension four said that three men target people returning from work.
“Robberies occur daily at the bus stop in Union Road (extension four),” the victim said.
He said that two of the men are over 40 while the third person is about 18-years-old.
