After a long time of searching for Lawrence Masera, his family has reported that he was found dead early last week.
The Masera family had last week requested for the help of the community in finding Masera as he was last seen on August 16.
According to his wife Pauline Masera, her husband had left on this day with some friends to attend a party in Orlando and when they got there they met some new people he doesn’t know.
When the festivities were over, Masera gave a lift to his friends and some of these new people he had just met.
He dropped off his friends and had not been seen or heard from ever since.
His blue Mazda Sting vehicle was later recovered in White City while some of his personal belongings were found elsewhere.
The family had searched at various hospitals but failed to find him.
Masera was later found dead by residents close to his home in Protea Glen, covered by rocks.
He was buried this past Saturday.
The Masera family said the news was heart breaking and this had not sunk in.
Masera leaves behind his wife and three children.
