There were 30 arrests made in the past week according to Orlando Police Station communications officer Nomvula Mbense.
15 were arrested for possession of dagga, four for damage to property, five for drinking and driving, another five for grievous bodily harm and one for common assault.
Mbense also said that there has been an increase in house robberies.
“I urge residents to make sure that they keep their households locked at all times. Even when they are home,” said Mbense.
She added that a lot of robberies happen when residents are home as they don’t lock their doors.
