Sidewalk paving for pedestrians almost complete
Sidewalk a green zone with trees planted to decorate and also give shade to pedestrians.
The sidewalk for the community of Protea which has been under construction for a few months is almost done.
People can now walk on paved sidewalks and it seems to be better than the gravel they used to walk on before.
The pedestrian sidewalks come with a green zone (which are trees planted to decorate and also give shade to the pedestrians).
Although some parts of the side walk are not completely done, there is no barrier in stopping pedestrians from using the paved way.
” This paved sidewalk is designed to help people walk in better roads even in rainy days. It helped a lot of people because workers are ordinary people from the community and not only did it benefit pedestrians but it created a lot of job opportunities as well”, said Mike Msisinyane.
The paving is expected to be complete by the end of this month since it started in April.
