The Moroka police are happy to report that over the weekend, they were able to make some arrests.
According to communications officer of Moroka, Constable John Serala, four vehicles were recovered in the Moroka policing area, of which two were reported hijacked vehicles.
Serala said: “These vehicles were found in various parts of the Moroka policing area. Ten people were detained for drug related matters. Three defendants were under arrest for carrying dangerous weapons, while one fire arm was recovered. Fifty suspects were imprisoned for priority crimes such as common robbery, sexual assault, malicious damage to property, business robbery and house breaking among other crimes.”
Serala said the police remain committed to fighting crime in all sectors of this area.
