Luke Tibbetts’ (3) memorial service was held at Westbury Recreational Centre, last night.
This comes after the boy was killed by a stray bullet on August 2 and suffered head injuries while traveling home with his mother.
“Enough is enough,” were some of the statements made by residents at the service last night.
Among the mourners were parents that brought their children with to support the Tibbetts family.
“I brought my children with me tonight because Luke was their friend,” said a mourner.
There will be another memorial service held tonight at the AFM Church in Steytler Street which is expected to start at 7pm.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, 9:30am at the home of Tibbetts then it will move to the Perfecting Church International service to start at 10:30am.
Luke’s final resting place will be at Westpark Cemetery.
