Organisations complain about theft at school

Soweto Women in Construction have had enough of their property being stolen.

Organisations that use Matubeni Primary School are raising their concerns about the theft that takes place at the school.

The school has stopped working and is currently used as a facility for local organization but some of the organisations that use the school say the school needs improvement on security.

One of the organizations that have suffered a great loss from the theft is a corporative called the Soweto Women in Construction.

Ntsoaki Letsoalo is the chairperson of the organisation and she says that the organisation plans to set aside money so that they are able to assist the school with upgrading their security.

“A pallet of finished bricks has gone missing once too many times, and its not only that.

“The sad part is that the people who do this are the very people who live in the immediate community of the school and when the suspects are wanted by the police, no one knows who it is,” Letsoalo said.

Letsoalo says she appeals to the community to come together and help the organisation and the police to fight crime I the area.
