At the age of 21 Njabulo Jali was sentenced to life and 42 years in prison last Monday at Protea Magistrate Court.
The man was convicted for murder, armed robbery, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
He had robbed a supermarket in Orlando West at gun point in August 2013.
In the same month, he murdered a man while at a tavern in Zone 11.
A month later in September 2013, he murdered someone at a tavern that he and three other accomplices went there with the intention to rob.
Police spokesperson, Sibusiso Chauke said Jali then fled to Kwazulu-Natal but was arrested in October 2013.
He said the police are pleased that justice has prevailed and that a criminal has been put away for terrorising the community.
