Department of Education wishes pupils well

GDE hopes pupils will have positive results during these exams.

The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) has wished Grade Eight to Twelve pupils writing their mid-year common examination papers well.

This is pupils from 470 priority schools in the province identified as needing support and tuition.

According to the GDE spokesperson, Phumla Sekhonyane these papers are set at provincial level and for certain subjects.

Sekhonyane said that these exams are imperative as they are used as practice platform for pupils to experience exam conditions that they will also face by year end.

Pupils from schools that are not priority schools are similarly wished well as they write their normal mid-year exams.
