Moroka Police Station officers arrested two suspects who have been on the run from since last year.
The suspects were wanted for house breaking and armed robbery which took place in Mapetla.
Upon the arrest, the suspects were found in possession of dagga with street value of R30 000.
The station spokesperson John Serala said the law is getting tougher and tougher by the day.
“We don’t have room for criminals in our society, we are sending out a strong message that as long as you are still living on the wrong side of the law, you will be heavily punished,” said Serala.
“Thanks to the residents who gave us a tip off about their whereabouts and to all the police officers who arrested these suspects, we thank them for not exposing even our informers. This shows that together with our residents, we can win the fight against crime.”
