We are the voice of the abused and poor residents –MPLs

MPLs promise to do good for community.

African National Congress Parliamentary Constituency Office’s (ANCPCO) Member of Parliament (MP) Nunku Nxumalo and Member of Parliament and Legislature (MPL) Doreen Senokoanyane vow that nothing will stop them from supporting and feeding the hungry stomachs in their areas.

Both women agree that neither child nor adult must or will go to bed with a hungry stomach while they are still alive.

Senokoanyane said: “We are not just ANC members, we are women, mothers, sisters, aunts and grandmothers and more importantly we are community developers with a mission of developing and supporting every human being in our areas.

“Though we can’t help everyone with every problem or challenge they have, we do promise to always try harder and seek assistance from other people so we can change lives and help every soul lead a positive life.”

Both women, with the help of their colleagues, have donated wheelchairs, food parcels, school uniforms and also helped renovate a house in Phiri which was burned down.

“We are not about to stop helping our people and we will not stop, even though it’s difficult to carry on with our mission, but that does not call us to stop and give up, there are lots of hungry souls out there looking up to us for help and if we do give up we will be doing injustice to them.”

Senokoanayne said: “ the PCO’s office is always open for our people and would urge residents to visit it more often to get more information about many different services offered that that can positively change their lives.”
