Sufficient IEC staff made voting easy

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) officials last Wednesday, worked tirelessly to ensure that voting ran smoothly at different voting stations in the township.

Even though the queues were long in some areas, residents didn’t wait long to cast their vote.

Hilda Mosondo (67) we went to vote early at Wasani Primary School in Pimville Zone Four, said she came early because she thought there would be a queue, however she was pleasantly surprised when the voting process didn’t take long.

Sam Mofokeng(35) who voted early said he was impressed with the service that he received from IEC officials.

He said he was impressed with the signs, he didn’t get lost and everything was marked for him to see.
