Paralympian Oscar Pistorius spent a sixth day in the witness box in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria. State Prosecutor, Gerrie Nel cross-examined Pistorius for three days last week. The athlete has pleaded not guilty to four charges, including the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day last year.

The ANC Youth League Basil Zuma Branch (ward30) will be hosting an Anti-Drugs Awareness Election Programme on Sunday April 6 at Ritz Circle in Orlando East.

All residents are invited to join in the fight against drugs in the community.

“We will march to Orlando Police Station to hand over the memorandum of our demands to impair the abuse the abuse of illegal drugs within our community,” said branch task team Kabelo Hlongwane.

The march will be supported by the SAPS, CPF, JMPD, NGO’s, ward councillors, local drug action, ANC and its alliance structures.
