Maimane leads rally for title deeds and quality housing

The Democratic Alliance (DA) Gauteng Premier Candidate Mmusi Maimane visited Jabavu residents yesterday morning.

The purpose of the visit was to have a rally for title deeds and quality housing in the area.

DA media liaison officer Kelly Clark, said Maimane also outlined the DA’s housing pledge for Gauteng, which includes the policy to ensure the unprecedented roll-out of title deeds to state-subsidised housing beneficiaries is proceed.

Clark said the rally took place at the Homemakers where at least 300 families have been denied the right to basic services.
The site was originally the location of Soweto Homemakers festival which celebrated opening of lease hold to black South Africans.
