Man stabbed to death
Body of a man was found lying in the streets of Newclare.
A man was found dead near a tunnel in Newclare, this past week.
“Yes we are aware of the murder that took place near the Newclare tunnel,” said warrant officer TJ De Bruyn.
Allegedly the attack happened in the morning hours of Saturday.
“When we patrolled the area last night around 8pm there wasn’t a body laying in the streets,” said Ashiq Osman ICE patroller for Newclare.
“It is clear that the deceased was stabbed.
“It is still an on going investigation and no witness to the crime have come forward.
“There are no suspects and we haven’t had a break in the investigation,” said De Bruyn.
“We usually patrol from 11pm to 2.30am, the crime probably happened afterward because we stand not too far from the scene,” said Osman.
