Chess Club in desperate need of equipment.

Edworks Nhlapo is the chairperson of the club and he says that the main idea behind starting the club is to provide a platform for people who interested in non- physical sports.

He added that the club also aims to have as many young people joining as possible because young people get involved in destructive habits.

“Ever since the club was registered, we have put good management in place so all we need now is for the delinquent youth to join us and for us to have sponsorship.

“We need boards to play on, we need a sheltered place to play from and we would like a source of incentive to keep our players motivated,” Nhlapo said.

Special Mabapu was practicing and leading Five points to One when the interview was taking place and he said there is nothing he enjoys more.

According to him, he enjoys plying because the sorts they play keeps the mind active and it sharpens their strategic planning.
