Over the past week the Jabulani Police Station has made 78 arrests over the past week and appeals to the community to remain vigilant and come forth with any useful information.
A 26 year old female from Tladi was walking to her mother in Naledi but was kidnapped on her way there.
Police spokes person captain Kay Mahkubela said she was taken to Moletsane when she got kidnapped by two male suspects aged 25 and 28.
According to Makhubela, the two suspects raped the victim and the case was reported after the incident.
The arrests were made after the case the case was opened and the suspects appeared in court the week following the arrest.
11 people were arrested for being in the possession of Dagga, while 5 others were arrested for dealing with drugs.
Makhubela says there were three shebeens which were trading without a valid trading license and all three shebeens were closed down.
