MHX Events is looking at giving back to underprivileged children during this coming winter, but is asking for the help of the community in making this event a success.
Founder of this company. Floyd Manana. said: “We all know that it is not every child in our local schools who can afford the comfort of shoes and jerseys to be warm this coming winter, which is why we are planning an event that will beneficit some of them.
“We can do the whole planning of the event, but we need some assistance from the community in terms of donations of school uniforms, school shoes or money to make the event possible.
“Assistance in funding will be helpful in organising necessities of the event like paying for the venue that we are going to use, security for the festivities and the school uniforms.”
The team has not yet allocated the schools they are going to donate to as they say they don’t want to make promises they cannot fulfil.
They hope that residents will hear their call of helping these disadvantaged children in the township.
