Fidelitas asks help to better school

Acting principal for Fidelitas Secondary Tsekiso Motlengoa said that they need all the help they can get to better their school.

Acting principal of Fidelitas Secondary School, Tsekiso Motlengoa, and the SGB have committed themselves into making the school the best in Diepkloof.

Motlengoa said that the school is a no-fee school so they need a lot of help achieving their aims.

“The government fee that we get is not enough to reach our aims. We are asking for donations and sponsorships from the community that can turn our vision into reality,” he said.

Motlengoa said that they believe in all-round education which is not restricted to text books.

“We want our pupils to get all the benefits of a great education and to achieve that we need funds. We need furniture for the staff offices, classes, a laboratory and a parking bay with a shelter for pupils on sunny days,” he said.

Motlengoa said they also want parents to help in the school.

“We need parents who don’t have to go to work to help us in the school. They can help with the security, in the kitchen and supervising pupils when a teacher calls in sick. We have a database of parents who help out but we are urging more parents to sign in,” he said.
