Seven suspects allegedly kidnaped and raped a teenage girl from Zola Two and the suspects are still at large, police appeal to the community to come forward with any information that can help.
The victim’s brother said he heard a knock on the door at around 2am on Tuesday morning and regrets opening the door.
Police spokesperson Kay Makhubela says the victim’s brother saw men in police uniforms and let them only to find out that they had a different agenda.
He said they forced themselves in, looking for his sister, and they forced his sister out of the house.
When he tried defending her they said that the girl was their friend and they going somewhere with her.
According to Makhubela, the perpetrators fled with the victim where they raped and assaulted her.
Mahkubela says he suspects that after the perpetrators heard they were wanted, they brought the victim back out of fear.
She was back by 4.pm on Wednesday and was taken to hospital.
A case of kidnap, rape and assault was opend.
